On October 2, 2020, SKMA employees took part in the IV Central Asian Forum on Quality Assurance in Education with the participation of European networks, annually held by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR).

The current forum was aimed at discussing non-standard approaches to the development of a quality assurance system, accreditation and rating research, expanding cooperation with international organizations and agencies that contribute to the development of a quality culture and promote constructive interaction between representatives of education, the labor market and society as a whole.

The Forum was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Moldova, international European networks for quality assurance in higher education, foreign accreditation bodies, international organizations in the field of education, Kazakhstani and foreign universities.

The speeches of the speakers of the plenary session reflected questions on the experience of universities in a pandemic.

Within the framework of the Forum, on-line sections were organized, at which key issues related to the implementation of strategic initiatives were discussed:

1. International experience in education quality assurance.

2. Education quality architecture.

3. Integration of Science and Education: New Trends in the Digital Age.

The organizers and participants of the forum are confident that the results of the discussions and debates will affect the increase of the potential for the quality of education in universities.
