A ceremonial event titled "Tusau Keser – 2025" was held at the Turkistan Palace in our city for first-year students of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. This evening, traditionally held annually at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, was organized at a high level once again this year. The event opened with a beautiful dance performance by the "Kazyna" ensemble from the Shymkent City House of Culture. One of the first to come on stage to present student IDs and keys to knowledge was the founder of SKMA, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Serikzhan Seitjanov Seitjanuly, who wished the students, just stepping into the academy, bright victories on the path of science and education. The rector of the institution, Zhanna Serikzhanqyzy Seitjanova, delivered a congratulatory speech and expressed her best wishes to the future doctors. The acting head of the Shymkent City Education Department, Kuanysh Ghalymzhanuly Ysqakov, presented city mayor’s educational grants. During the ceremony, Sholpan Kalamabaeva, spouse of medical sciences candidate Ikram Toleev, donated 500 books to the academy. They were accepted by the student rector, Merey Askar. Then, fully aware of the responsibility of becoming a future doctor, academy student Sarsenbay Bakdaulet Muratuly accepted the “Medical Certificate” on behalf of all young colleagues, once again affirming the high prestige of this profession.  The celebration dedicated to students taking their first step into a new life was continued by chief doctors of city hospitals, who shared their heartfelt wishes and gave guidance to the future colleagues. The highlight of the evening was the performance by pop star Serik Gamza-zade, who brought a cheerful mood, sang together with the students, and added brilliance to the event. Afterwards, the audience joyfully welcomed the beloved young performer, a bright star of Kazakhstan’s pop scene, ALEMDI. Every moment of the evening was filled with unforgettable impressions.
