A SEMINAR ON "COVID-19" WITH LEADING RUSSIAN SCIENTISTS WAS HELD ON THE WEBEX PLATFORM DURING THE ENTIRE WEEK OF SKMA
The first decade of June (01-05.2020) in SKMA was marked by online video conferences on a new coronavirus infection with scientists from the National medical research center for Phthisiopulmonology and infectious diseases, the Russian national research medical University named after N.I. Pirogov of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation, and Privilzhsky Research Medical University from Nizhny Novgorod (Russia).
At the final videoconference, the rector of SKMA, Professor M. M. Rysbekov sincerely thanked all the speakers: I.A. Vasilieva (Recommendations for providing anti-tuberculosis care in the context of a new coronavirus infection pandemic)-Director, N.Yu.Pshenichnaya (COVID-19: Clinic, differential diagnosis, treatment and prevention) - head of the Department of international cooperation; A.E. Panova (Organization of a specific laboratory study for the diagnosis of COVID-19 by nucleic acid amplification methods) – head of the Department of laboratory diagnostics (National medical research center for Phthisiopulmonology and infectious diseases), N. N. Zvereva - doctor of faculty Infectious diseases in children of the Russian National research medical University named after N.I. Pirogov of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation (Features of clinical manifestations and treatment of the disease caused by a new coronavirus infection (CVID-19) in children), S.V. Kopyshinskaiya (Review of international guidelines for the management of the neurological patient in a pandemic COVID-19.) - associate Professor of the Volga research medical University of Nizhny Novgorod. The first head of the University accepted the invitation of the Director I.A. Vasilieva to participate in the events held in Moscow.
- Each of them on our dialogue platform shared their first experience in organizing a round-the-clock hotline, creating multidisciplinary field teams to provide advice and methodological assistance to the subjects of the Russian Federation, conducting round-the-clock medical advice to doctors of all specialties through telemedicine; laboratory diagnostics; diagnostics, treatment of children and adults, as well as tuberculosis and neurological patients. This experience, of course, helps in the tactics and management of patients at all stages of treatment both in Kazakhstan and in Russia. Educational webinars, as you know, are not enough.
I believe that our cooperation should be fruitful and close, as universities in Kazakhstan and Russia train specialists for medicine and healthcare.
We have a lot in common in the educational space. Let the information space only grow stronger and develop, said M.M. Rysbekov.
The seminar was attended by experts from research institutes, and scientific centers, laboratories, staff of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
